Recipe : Grilled Bagel Chips
You can flavor these versatile chips with any combination of dried herbs and spices. They
go beautifully with Grilled Zucchini-white Bean Dip .
Makes 4 servings
One 4-ounce bagel, halved and sliced lengthwise into 16 chips
Pinch salt
Pinch garlic powder
Pinch dried oregano
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Prepare grill for a medium fire, using direct method (see Cooking Methods).
Grill bagel chips, 2-3 minutes, turning once, until golden brown.
In shallow plate, toss chips with oil and seasonings until well coated.Transfer to
serving bowl and serve.
SERVING (4 CHIPS) PROVIDES: 1/4 Fat, 1 Bread.
