Delicious And Healthy Low Carb Atkins Diet Recipe

Recipe : Spicy Pita Chips
Makes 4 servings
1/4 cup tomato juice
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Four 2-ounce pitas
Preheat oven to 350o F. Line baking sheet with foil; spray with nonstick cooking
spray.
In small bowl, combine tomato juice, onion powder, oregano, oil, garlic salt, pepper
and salt.
With pastry brush, brush both sides of each pita with an equal amount of tomato juice
mixture. Cut pitas into eighths; place on prepared baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes. Turn
oven off; do not remove pitas. Let pitas remain in oven until cool and crispy.
EACH SERVING (8 CHIPS) PROVIDES: 1/4 Fat, 1/4 Vegetable, 2 Breads
