Delicious And Healthy Low Carb Atkins Diet Recipe

In every little town in Mexico, you will find juice stands with a breathtaking display
of tropical fruits that fill the air with their ripe perfumes. If you can find
guanabanas or guavas, by all means use them in this recipe, but nectarines, peaches
and strawberries are good choices, too. If you choose intensely fragrant fruit, you
will need little or no added sugar.
Makes 4 servings
1 1/2 medium papayas, pared, seeded and cut into chunks; or 1 1/2 small mangoes,
pared, pitted and cut into chunks; or 3/4 small cantaloupe, pared, seeded and cut
into chunks; or 1 1/2 medium bananas, peeled and cut into chunks
2 cups very cold or slightly frozen skim milk
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
In blender, combine fruit, milk, sugar and juice; puree until smooth. Serve
immediately.
