Delicious And Healthy Low Carb Atkins Diet Recipe

Recipe : Ginger Pears
Makes 4 servings
4 small pears, cored and halved
1 tablespoon minced crystallized ginger
1 tablespoon ginger marmalade *
Cut a thin slice from skin side of each pear half so it lies flat; place in a 1-Quart
shallow microwave-safe dish.
Fill cavity of each pear with an equal amount of ginger and marmalade. Sprinkle
pears with 2 tablespoons water; cover dish with wax paper. Microwave on High
(100% power) 3 minutes. Baste pears with pan juices; microwave on High 1
minute longer, until pears are tender.
Just before serving, place 2 pear halves on each of 4 dishes; drizzle each
portion with an equal amount of pan juices.
