Recipe : Honey-Broiled Grapefruit

Makes 4 servings

2 medium grapefruits, halved
1 fluid ounce (2 tablespoons) Italian bitters *
2 tablespoons honey

Preheat broiler.
Cut a thin slice off bottom of each grapefruit half so it stands upright; place in
broiler pan.
In small bowl, combine bitters and honey; drizzle half of the honey mixture over
grapefruit halves. Broil grapefruits 6" from heat 5-7 minutes, until heated.
Place 1 grapefruit half on each of 4 plates; drizzle evenly with pan juices and
remaining honey mixture.
