Recipe : Pears with Herbed Roquefort
Makes 4 servings
1 1/2 ounces Roquefort or blue cheese, crumbled
1/4 teaspoon dried sage leaves, crumbled
1/4 garlic clove, minced
2 large Bosc pears
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
In small bowl, combine cheese, sage and garlic.
Just before serving, halve and core pears; brush cut side of each pear half with
lemon juice. Fill each half with an equal amount of cheese mixture.
EACH SERVING (1 FILLED PEAR HALF) PROVIDES: 1 Fruit, 1/2 Protein
