Delicious And Healthy Low Carb Atkins Diet Recipe

Recipe : Broiled T-Bone Steak

This steak is also great on the grill. The perfect accompaniment? Grilled vegetables,
such as eggplant, squash and onion.

Makes 4 Servings

One 1 pound, 2-ounce T-bone or rib steak (at least 1-1 1/2" thick), excess fat
trimmed
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
2 teaspoons chopped fresh sage
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Preheat broiler. Spray rack with nonstick cooking spray.
In small bowl, mix oil, rosemary and sage. Rub steak with herb mixture.
Broil steak 3" from heat, 6 minutes for rare, turning once, or until cooked to
desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper as soon as steak is done. Slice and
serve.

EACH SERVING (3 ounces) PROVIDES: 1 Fat, 3 Proteins
