Recipe : Noodles with Peas
Makes 4 servings
6 ounces broad egg noodles
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1/2 cup frozen green peas
1/2 teaspoon dried savory leaves
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
In large pot of boiling water, cook noodles 5-6 minutes, until tender. Drain and
place in medium decorative bowl; keep warm.
Meanwhile, in small skillet, bring broth to a boil; cook until liquid is reduced in
volume by about half. Add peas, savory and pepper; reduce heat to low. Cook,
covered, 2 minutes, until peas are cooked.
Pour pea mixture over noodles; toss to combine.
